Founded in 1945 in Nome, AK, the Church of the Nazarene quickly established a meaningful presence in the community. Today, its impact is evident through various initiatives, such as hosting weekly Alcoholics Anonymous meetings and collaborating with the Nome Emergency Shelter Team (NEST) to provide shelter for up to 60 homeless individuals during the harsh winter months. Our mission is to address basic human needs, demonstrating God's love to everyone we serve.
